What is Pleather?
Pleather is a durable mixture of leather and vinly. Pleather is commonly used on low wear areas, sides, backing and under sides. The colour is match to the original leather and vary rarely can they be differentiated. Although Pleather has great durability against wear and tear and UV decay we are still obligated to notify our customers of these mixtures.
How do I place an order?
Once you have selected your furniture, click BUY IT NOW, and the order will be placed.
If you have any special instructions or important information, about whether you want left arm facing or right arm facing for example, please tell us in the "End of Auction" email. We will also ask you to confirm that you have sufficient access and space for the items you want to purchase.
Within 2 working days you should receive a letter confirming your M8R8 Furniture order number and delivery details with all the contact info you need.
Can I make changes to my order?
If you want to make any changes to your order, please e-mail us at home@m8r8.com.au. Early alterations within a few days aren't usually a problem. However, once the goods are in production with the manufacturer we are bound by law to accept them, so we may have to charge you a cancellation fee to cover our costs.
Please note that when merchandise is ordered at different times we cannot guarantee colour matching due to variations between batches. Changing an order may cause a delay with your delivery time and may alter the price you have been quoted.
How do I measure properly?
It is important to check that your furniture will go into your room before placing your order. To avoid disappointment, please refer to our Online Measuring Guide, on the right, for assistance.
Can you tell me the availability of a specific item?
Before you select a product to buy online an indication of the current lead time for delivery will have been given on the product listing page. Please be aware that this information changes daily. M8R8 Furniture cannot be held responsible for delays beyond our control. We will inform you as soon as we become aware of any changes in the time original given when you placed your order. What if my order is late?
You should have been given an estimated delivery time. If it changes, we will let you know straight away. While M8R8 Furniture cannot be held liable for any delays which are beyond our control, we will make every effort to keep you informed. If you have any delivery problems, please contact us through home@m8r8.com.au or telephone Monday to Friday between 9am to 5pm.
What happens on the day of delivery?
You will be contacted in advance to arrange a convenient date. Assuming your goods aren't self assembly, we will position the furniture as directed. Please make sure all access points are clear of obstacles. You should also ensure there is someone in your property to receive and sign for the furniture.
What happens if I am out when you deliver?
As all deliveries need to be signed for, we will be unable to leave your furniture and it will be returned to the distribution centre. Someone will contact you to arrange a further delivery date. There will be an additional extra delivery charge.
Can I nominate a day or time for delivery?
We endeavour to deliver your order as quickly as possible and usually no later than 7 days after it becomes available. We would appreciate you accepting delivery on the same basis. We deliver Monday to Friday. Our Distribution Team will try to contact you on the delivery day to offer an AM or PM delivery.
Can M8R8 Furniture store my furniture?
Sorry, no. By delivering goods promptly, as soon as we receive them, we can give you the best value for money.
My item has not yet arrived. What do I do?
When we dispatch your item we assume that you have provided a phone or email contact with RTS and have arranged the delivery details. Please contact them direct if your item has not arrived as scheduled. We will send you the shipping details for RTS once payment has been received.
What if my furniture does not fit?
When ordering furniture it is important to check that it will fit into your house and your room. Please check all doors, stairways and the space it has to go into carefully. If the worst happens and it really won't fit in, we will do our utmost to help you come up with an alternative. How do I pay for my goods?
We accept Paypal as it protects both the buyer and the seller.
Bank transfer/bank deposit is also an accepted payment method.
What if I wish to cancel my online order before delivery?
If, after having placed your stock order, you have a change of heart for whatever reason, you may cancel your order at any time prior to delivery. All you need to do is advise us by e-mailing us at home@m8r8.com.au or telephone Monday to Friday between 9am to 5pm. Once we acknowledge receipt of your cancellation, there will be a 10% re stocking fee and you will receive your refund using the same method as your original payment less 10% of the auction price. If, however, the manufacture process is underway, then a cancellation fee of 25% will be imposed and retained by ourselves. A cancellation notice, together with your receipt, will be posted to you.
What if I don't like it after it's been delivered?
If your stock order has been conducted only through Ebay, you have 7 working days from receipt of your furniture in which to advise us in writing that you do not want to keep the goods. Notification can be sent via e-mail at home@m8r8.com.au. If we have acknowledged your request, we ask that you do the following to assist with uplift of the goods:
Ensure that the furniture is returned in the condition in which it was received. We will not be able to refund the goods in full if there are any signs of damage or misuse. To help you, we will be happy to send out large plastic bags to cover items of upholstery. Please retain the packaging for all items of cabinet and bedroom furniture. The goods must be returned in their original wrappings. Please make the furniture available for collection within 7 days.
We will refund to you all the monies paid by you, but the +delivery fee. This is due to the furniture being bespoke to your order and to cover manufacture and shipping. Please note we cannot accept the return of the following items:
i. Mattresses and divan beds, or bedding unless un-opened and in their original packaging.
ii. Any partially assembled flat pack furniture, unless the item is found to be faulty.
Once the goods are back at our local warehouse and have been inspected, we will confirm the refund amount due by e-mail and make the repayment within 7 days. A final cancellation notice together with your receipt will be posted to your nominated address. Please note for card refunds it can take up to 7 working days from the date that we process the repayment for your account provider to re-credit you with the amount due.
What do I do if my furniture arrives damaged?
Naturally we endeavour to deliver all our furniture in good condition. At M8R8 Furniture we have spent many hours talking to our suppliers about packing and shipping our http://www.m8r8.net/outdoor/products/ so they arrive safely. We are constantly looking for ways to improve these standards. Our stores also pride themselves on having the best delivery teams in the business. Please note: if insurance is not paid for prior to item leaving, M8R8 is NOT responsible or liable for any othere damages, we will try our best to help and assist with your needs.
It is disappointing for you and us when occasionally things go wrong. When your order has been unwrapped in your home and there are signs of transit damage, this is what to expect if insurance is taken:
i. If the furniture is useable, despite the damage, we are happy for you to go ahead and use it.
ii. The M8R8 Furniture delivery team will complete an incident report form to record the problem. They will ask you to sign it. They may also take photographs to accompany the paperwork.
iii. The Incident Report form will be returned to the delivering store. It will be logged against your order number, and assessed for action.
iv. A M8R8 Furniture technician will contact you and arrange to visit and repair the problem to manufacturing standards, generally within 7 days. If he/she cannot resolve the matter on the first visit and parts are required, we will endeavour to source them as quickly as possible.
v. In the event that a repair cannot be made, your statutory rights are not affected. We will replace the furniture.
